Dr. Baker attended medical school and completed her residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where she served as pediatric chief resident and assistant professor of pediatrics. Fluent in conversational and medical Spanish, she sees patients from newborn to age 21 and accepts new patients under the age of 18. Dr. Baker works closely with parents, providing guidance on normal growth and development in raising a child. She enjoys teaching children how to be healthy and believes that healthy behaviors learned early are more likely to continue through adulthood.

Board certified in pediatrics and licensed in advanced pediatric and neonatal life support, Dr. Baker is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Texas Pediatric Association and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Baker offers comprehensive pediatric care, from routine checkups and allergy management, to life-threatening injury and emergency intervention. She lives in the Memorial area with her husband and enjoys reading, yoga, getting together with family and friends, and watching Astros games.

 

Dr. Kathryn Glass

Kathryn Glass, M.D.

A native Texan, Dr. Glass received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. Following postgraduate studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio, she received her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Va. and completed her residency training in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughter in Norfolk, Va.

Before returning to Texas and joining the Memorial Herman Medical Group - TMC, Dr. Glass was in private practice in Virginia where she served as assistant clinical professor of pediatrics and community preceptor at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical School in Richmond, Va.

Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Glass provides highly personalized care to her patients from newborn to age 21, specializing in asthma and skin-related issues. Dr. Glass believes in working as a partner with parents and their children. She takes the time to make sure each family understands their children’s medical conditions.

Married with two grown children, Dr. Glass enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, gardening, cooking, playing racquetball and singing in her church choir.

 

Dr. Tejpal Grover

Originally from Amherst, New York, Dr. Grover completed his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, and his residency at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He completed his M. B. A. at the State University of New York at Buffalo.  He gained additional postgraduate training at the Intermountain Healthcare – M.D. Anderson Clinical Safety and Effectiveness program. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Grover sees patients age 18 and older, and focuses on helping those with hypertension, diabetes, and diseases of the heart, lungs, kidney, and liver.

As a caring physician for more than 12 years, Dr. Grover maintains close connections with his established patients and believes in long-term continuity of care. He spent 12 years as faculty in the Department of General Internal Medicine at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, where he served as an outpatient physician, hospitalist, and emergency room physician. For nearly 10 years, he has also served as director of the Medical Oncology Clinical Specialists’ Program in the Department of General Internal Medicine at the same institution.  He also cofounded the Anticoagulation and Cancer Fatigue clinics.  Dr. Grover resides with his wife and three children in Pearland, and enjoys reading, sports, photography and traveling in his spare time.

 

Dr. Colleen Lance

Colleen Lance, M.D.
Sleep Medicine

Dr. Lance obtained her medical doctorate at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas. She then went on to Internal Medicine training at the University of Texas at Houston, and remained as Chief Medical Resident in that program. After 5 years of practicing Internal Medicine, she returned to the University of Texas at Houston for her Sleep Medicine Fellowship; and is now a Diplomat of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. After completing her fellowship, she joined the faculty at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center where she began a Sleep Medicine Program. Dr. Lance is the medical director of the Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Sleep Disorders Center.    She practices Sleep Medicine full-time with the Memorial Hermann Medical Group, providing care for the full spectrum of sleep disorders that affect all age groups, with particular interest in the sleep disorders that affect both women and children.

 

Dr. Springer-Tollett

Melanie Springer-Tollett, M.D.
Internal Medicine

A native Houstonian, Dr. Springer-Tollett earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School where she also completed her residency training in internal medicine.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Springer-Tollett received a “five-star” rating from the independent healthcare ratings survey, Healthgrades®. She believes in working as a team with her patients in developing their health plans and provides highly personalized care to her patients 18 years and older. Among the many conditions she treats, her special clinical interest is in diabetes.

Before joining the Memorial Hermann Medical Group, Dr. Springer-Tollett practiced medicine in Houston for 20 years as a private physician and hospitalist at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center where she served on the Medical Executive Committee, and at TIRR Memorial Hermann where she was twice named the consultant of the year.

Married with four active children, Dr. Springer-Tollett enjoys bird watching and photography as hobbies.
